After your breakfast our guide will meet you in the lobby at your accommodation (Hotel or Guest House) and will take you to visit Angkor Wat, The biggest monument Hindu temple was built in 12nd Century. After we continue long driving over 30Km through the village & rice-paddy field in the countryside to visit Banteay Srei temple or called Ladies temple, the one which built from the pink sandstone in half of 10th century by Hindu King Rajendravarman II for dedicated to trinity Gods in Hindu mainly Shiva.
After busy couple hours in the morning around 12:30pm we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch around 1:30pm or 2:00pm we’ll visit Pre Rup Temple which was constructed in late 10th century dedicated to Hindu gods. This reflects the common belief among Cambodians that funerals were conducted at the temple. Then we continue to see Ta Promh temple on the small circuit road. This temple is one with a lot of gigantic tree roots over the temple and is the place where Hollywood made the movie “Tomb Raider”. The last ones we go to visit the city of Angkor Thom and the Bayon temple. It’s the highlight temple in the centre of Angkor Thom city with 49 towers in which every tower has 4 faces, so that means there are 196 faces of Budhhistsatva Avalokestesvara. Then we walk to the next temple nearby called Baphoun which is a Hindu temple built before Angkor Wat in the 11th Century. The big Reclining Buddha behind it was built in 16th Century & we continue to Royal Enclosure Wall nearby with a visit to Elephant Terrace & Leper King Terrace , still within the complex of Angkor Thom.
Our tour will conclude when we return you to your hotel between 4:00pm-5:00pm.
